Dear Jim and your family,
A memory of OliveAnn:
Our daughter Cathy was grateful to OliveAnn when she was in the Montreal House. OliveAnn wrote Cathy a letter of apology after the Denver 2000 reunion. It was a very kind and gracious act on OliveAnn’s part.
We grieve with you and yours at this very sad time for you.
We remember OliveAnn with deep respect and gratitude in our hearts.
Lovingkindness be yours dear Jim,
Isobel Bishop

They were familiar faces from summer programs and the local church experiment. As more experienced parents, they were the cool presence with our youth cluster. They brought much wisdom to support our mission from their work with Town Meetings and from their experience in the Cleveland Region and in the Lorne HPD in Canada.

In addition to documenting the past, she was also filled with passion and a vision of dealing with Climate Change through the Town Meeting format. The neighborhood work that she and Jim and the Denver team undertook has had amazing results and serves as a model that others can follow.
