<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Jim and OliveAnn were part of the Denver Religious House when John and I were assigned there around 1981 as we returned to the USA from several years away. They were familiar faces from summer programs and
the local church experiment. As more experienced parents, they were the cool presence with our youth cluster. They brought much wisdom to support our mission from their work with Town Meetings and from their experience in the Cleveland Region and in the
Lorne HPD in Canada. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">OliveAnn was a much sought after teacher of high school and college mathematics and was honored as the Disney Math Teacher of the Year a number of years ago … a great imaginal educator in all she did.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">We’ve collaborated on several projects over the years, but most recently on the work of the Archives, where OliveAnn was an enlivening presence. In addition to documenting the past, she was also filled with
passion and a vision of dealing with Climate Change through the Town Meeting format. The neighborhood work that she and Jim and the Denver team undertook has had amazing results and serves as a model that others can follow.

<span style="font-size:16.0pt;font-family:"Georgia",serif;color:#222222">OliveAnn Slotta passed away unexpectedly early Monday morning May 3rd from complications surrounding B-cell lymphoma. She had been receiving treatment for several weeks. Her doctors had
been pleased with her progress, but she was taken to the emergency room on Sunday evening and passed away several hours later.</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt;font-family:"Arial",sans-serif;color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
