Thanks for your thoughtful comments, Bill. Attempting to recover prayer
for the 21st century is greatly needed, and your examples set us all
thinking in the right direction.
One minor correction: The Church as Social Pioneer was H. Richard Niebuhr,
not his brother Reinhold!
