Yes, Bud, I remember your name from Rochdale. Other members of our team were Rose and George West. We did courses in Scotland and Ireland as well. Later when we went to the continent we were joined by Katrin Ogilvy, a German colleague from Australia. It was a life changing trip for me.

So, Rod, it was you and Frank who taught the course in Lancashire in '68? It's so long ago I couldn't remember. I was the one who did the organizing of it. One of the participants was President of the British Methodist Church several years ago, David Gamble.

Sad news. Frank was a great teacher and human to the core. I had the privilege of being his roommate for two months during the Order’s 1968 RS-1 teaching/formulation trip to the UK and Europe. This trip concluded with a two week research segment in Communist east Europe countries visiting church officials and various EI contacts. It was just after Dubchek’s ouster by the Russians in the Fall of ‘68. Frank’s leadership, courage, teaching, and intentionality were awesome. He will be missed.

Aimee contacted Carol Pierce saying that Frank passed yesterday of a heart attack. They were at his Texas home. The funeral will be held there among his family friends perhaps as early as tomorrow. At a later date, a memorial service will be held in Chicago. As more information will be posted once it becomes known.
Grace and peace,
Terry
