One of the participants is located in The Philippines mentioned she is part of a “Bahay Kubo” movement focused at the household and community level. It apparently refers to a song written a hundred or so years ago in Tagalog. I wonder if you or anyone on the list is familiar?? Elsa, thank you for clearing up my woeful memory! I remember the rest down to “Sitaw bataw patani” but don’t remember the rest. Singkamas is sort of a cross between a potato and an apple, but what is “at talong?” And I don’t remember the translation of “at mani” or “sitaw bataw patani”??
