Remember that song, "Running on an endless marathon"? I, now 72, ran my 20th marathon on Sunday, the Raleigh City of Oaks Marathon. I've been running one a year and will run the Boston Marathon in April 2018, perhaps my last. I finished in 4:29:44 and was first in my age group in the top half of both men and all runners. Congratulations to both Lewie and Herman! I’m adding Bud Ames’s name to this list of faithful runners. I don’t know his numbers, but he ran for Heifer for years and has only recently pulled back because of knee problems. Bud and Jan were at the recent Fall Sojourn in Chicago.
