Why do the signs on the buildings here and in Porterville (only 2 I've observed, perhaps part of the 100, but that seems a little unlikely) say "Anglican?" In a message dated 5/3/2012 10:26:26 A.M. Quite a small group (like 4 Bishops and part of the membership of fewer than 100 churches) left and formed their own thing which is not recognized by anyone. The Episcopal Church itself seems to be doing just fine, including attracting not only those supportive of LGBT people and women, but also a fair number of disenchanted ex-Catholics, particularly from Latin America. The San Joaquin Diocese was one of the 4 that split off. It was even more conservative than Pittsburgh. They still refused to consider ordaining women. The Diocese of Los Angeles elected a bishop who was both woman and lesbian. Don't assess the Episcopal Church in Calif by the San Joaquin Valley! Bud On 3 May 2012, at 14:42, LAURELCG@aol.com wrote:
