As soon as I saw the subject line, I was flooded with memories. And more so in the phrase "this beloved giant of a man." I recall kind eyes, gentle touch, booming laughter, and thoughtful reflection. This beloved giant of a man has left us and as all shall mourn his passing, there will nevertheless be a worthy celebration of his life. This will take place (for Australian colleagues) at the Modbury Uniting Church, 576 Monatague Rod, Modbury North, South Australia on Wednesday 19th October at 2pm.
