I did not know him well, or work with him - but I remember feeling awe whenever he was around. With him there was humor, on top of a kind of volcano of anger and care that it seemed could erupt at any moment. Oh, Robert Shropshire, of all the people I've wished this for, perhaps the strongest wish is this for you: that somehow the Mystery allows you to have a sense of how much you are loved and appreciated. Perhaps to have a chance to read e-mails with your name on them?! Love to your family. I'll never forget his style of addressing our illusions with a HO, Ho, Ho isn't that great. He always said he wished he had the busiiness education that I had. I,ll never forget him as a friend and I agree as to his great sense of humor and leadership skill. We taught together at the Black Academy several times and through him, I got to know about the feelings and hopes of the black community in the 70s. We worked together at Bombay house together as well. I had been trying to track him down all these years with no success. A man with a great sense of humour and passion.
