What about Jack's letter to the doctor? Did the doctor read it? Gordon read a copy to us this morning at the archive sojourn Jim Wiegel “The bad news is you’re falling through the air, nothing to hang on to, no parachute. Here's Margaret Scott, sitting on the edge of Jack Gilles' hospital bed, writing you on his behalf with lots of good news. The removal of the gall bladder went beautifully. The surgeon did find a stone lodged in the duct that must have arrived there since the MRI last week. So now on Thursday Jack will have a procedure that starts through his throat to get to that duct and fish out the stone. Meanwhile, he will be in the hospital because he can't eat until that stone is gone and so is on the intervenous drip. His spirits are those of "good ole Jack!" He says, "I will have my laptop tomorrow and will be able to communicate with you then. Hope you are all fine!"
Best from both of us! _______________________________________________ OE mailing list OE@lists.wedgeblade.net http://lists.wedgeblade.net/listinfo.cgi/oe-wedgeblade.net
