The instigating reason for my hospitalization was my Zenkers divererticulum, which flared up again in June with no warning ( it was surgically dealt with in 2009). I had no warning. No pain. I choked and the rest is history. Now I am on a pureed diet – although I widely interpret that. No date has been set for the necessary surgery yet.
