Yes. This can be asserted in one’s practise and in one’s conversation when openness occurs. Sent from my iPad

The United Methodist Women took a new name--United Women in Faith. It broadens the denomination. And there isan all-out effort to gain younger women in our group. If what is written below is true, it is in that organization, not my local church where I see hopeful efforts toward the future. Our social action items are Climate Justice and Racial Justice, with other efforts on Just Immigration and Recognition of Indigenous concerns.Full rights for women, inclusion of LGBTQ+ folks, and study of the Bible for today's needs. I don’t see it in the renewal of the local church. But I see occasions of the “focus of the energy of secular man on … the humanizing process,” in such things as people helping others in disaster recovery, mentoring programs, community action programs, etc. I would love to see the creation of a new universal social vehicle. I hope for it, but I am beginning to believe that it will continue to burble up in bits and pieces rather than a gush of organized universality. What are you seeing, Jim? Recently have run across some talking about church as a verb instead of a noun. On Mon, Sep 5, 2022 at 10:50 PM Nancy Trask via Dialogue < dialogue@lists.wedgeblade.net> wrote:
