The United Methodist Women took a new name--United Women in Faith. It broadens the denomination. And there is
an all-out effort to gain younger women in our group.
If what is written below is true, it is in that organization, not my local church where I see hopeful efforts toward the future.
Our social action items are Climate Justice and Racial Justice, with other efforts on Just Immigration and Recognition of Indigenous concerns.
Full rights for women, inclusion of LGBTQ+ folks, and study of the Bible for today's needs.
