I have been struggling with where my racism shows up. This helps me ID much of it. It is humbling to find out that one has racial undertones that they are “unaware” of. It is easy to be impressed By what one does not understand too well. G.H. Hardy ❤ Frank

Last week a French teacher at a public charter school in Wake Forest, NC caught a lot of flack for posting this poster, which links 'Make America Great Again' to covert white supremacy. Fox News <http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2017/09/20/teacher-make-america-great-again-is-example-white-supremacy.html> didn't like it. Neither did many parents <http://americanlens.com/white-supremacy-pyramid-parents-upset/>. This 'white supremacy pyramid' (or 'iceberg') chart was adapted from http://www.racialequitytools.org/resourcefiles/olcese.pdf <http://www.racialequitytools.org/resourcefiles/olcese.pdf> that reflects an understanding of the 'intersectionality' of oppression. I highly recommend this document. Marshall Jones
