Well, Guatemala – dirt floor covered with plastic, poles to hold up a tin roof and walls. Dug our own outdoor privy. Two kids – DDT under the plastic to keep the bugs down. Couldn’t keep them healthy –

The Addington's were the first to live in that coal bin - 2 adults and 3 small children. We painted the bin white. Anytime someone hosed off the veranda, we got wet. We were the 1st priors of the Atlanta House; such housing assignments were common among us in those years.
