I have learned from colleague  Hilde Betonte that her husband Anthony is recovering from surgery for a brain tumor which will require a long recuperation period.  Notes and encouragement and prayers will be supportive to both Hilde and Anthony. In 2019, Hilde and her daughter Kimberly Swallow joined the Fall Sojourn.  What a delight to reconnect with Hilde  from early 5th City days and to meet her remarkable daughter.  Hilde’s writing about time in the Christian Faith and Life Community and about their assignments around the world is captured in the link below, as well as updates on their children.
