Thank you for your email and your beautiful blog post.  We were saddened to learn about the death of Charles--beloved husband and father, friend and colleague and mentor to so many.  Our hearts and prayers are with all of you as you mourn his death and celebrate the gift and legacy of his life.  For all the saints...

Dear Order Community,
I am writing to share the news that Charles died this afternoon in Bloomington, Indiana. Charles had dementia which had progressed during the past few months. A couple of weeks ago he fell, resulting in transfer to a nursing facility where he died today. 
Doris, Shelley and I, and our families, are grateful for his life in ways too numerous to say right now. At some point, when the pandemic crisis is no longer a threat, there will be a memorial service. We will share those details when plans are made. He was deeply loved and will be missed.
