Dear John,

I thank you for your sharing your embrace of Life. Our names will not be written in history books, nor noted for great wisdom. But the book of Life remembers, and those who are a sign to Life’s mercy will; and you are one of those signs. it is a profound mix of sorrow and joy I am feeling. Thank you for being a part of my life, for it has enlivened me. Thanks for being a colleague in our Order, for you have reminded me of our Call. And thank you for your Faith in the Mystery, for it has healed me, once more. Journey on.
