CALL TO ALL 11 04 2018
This will be my last suggestion until the election Tuesday. Tomorrow I will post a summary of my “campaign” to get progressive (especially women) candidates elected this year. After the election I will post my self-reflection on how I think we did. So today I Joan Greene, an LGBT activist running in Arizona’s 5th District. There will perhaps come a day when Congress will be truly representative of all the various strands woven in the fabric of this country.

Greene, a member of the LGBT community, is running against incumbent Andy Biggs who once called the landmark 2015 Supreme Court ruling that legalized same sex marriage "an affront to the millions of Americans who believe marriage is between a man and a woman." She faces a male opponent in the general election.
