Who knows where these contacts with old colleagues will lead us?   This one discovered as I attempted to learn more about how Kelapa Dua was selected as a project. Connie had directed me also to Pak The, but I didn’t reach him, and now it is too late.   I will read Connie’s memoir and then donate it to the ICA library and add it to the addendum of the Chronological History of EI and ICA.

I will send you a copy of Unspeakable Joy: a memoir some time next week. It's also available as ebook and paperback on Amazon.com.
It will take a while before the second memoir gets published. But surely I will let you know when that happens.

It was true I was instrumental in the set up of Kelapa Dua. However  I regret  playing that role of a key person. But I have been forgiven. I am at peace. Because of my current circumstances--writing my second memoir--
I won't be of much help to you. So I am happy you have Sherwood and Eunice Shankland who could give you all the info you want to have.

I lost touched with Kelapa Dua and ICA Jakarta completely.
Since I left Indonesia in 1977 I have taken another path. Now at 86 I am deeply involved with writing my second memoir. In Unspeakable Joy I mentioned briefly about what Kelapa Dua has meant to me. The second one is about 'aging and dying'. I'm not sure what I finally will call it. Currently I call it Ecstatic Love. I am devoting the rest of my life to get it done. In order to do this I must let go of other
demands. I enjoy this opportunity immensely and I am deeply grateful.
