[Oe List ...] Pentecost Blessings

Thank you for sending this. I'm a little embarrassed to admit that I had forgotten that this is Pentecost Day but promise the read the story in the Acts of the Apostles before the day is over. I love the song despite some of the language, which I think is a larger issue than just gender. As you know, a big piece of our "new consciousness" is that our "on behalf of" living has expanded beyond just the human community to become inclusive care for the whole of creation. So for me as I hum the song today, while trying to preserve at least some of the meter, I will put in the place of "for all men" the phrase "for the world." Have a great day in the Spirit of Pentecost.
