Several years ago, as I was involved in a project related to the Israeli Palestinian conflict, we were in some intense sort of think tank dialogues at a little center called Talitha Kumi, near Bethlehem. As our work on conflict got more intense, The Being song, Poverty, Obedience, Prayer songs came into my head, almost unbidden. Also the setting of Psalm 13 to some folk song . . .

Which is to say, thanks for Tony, for Jon, for Russ, for the community

> Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.
