[Oe List ...] OE Digest, Vol 17, Issue 11

Mr. Rippells' post reminded me how my graduate studies at Marquette were on
the topic of servant leadership, The modern servant leadership academic
college attributes its beginnings to the work of Robert Greenleaf who
attributes his servant leadership inspiration to Brother Leo, HH's
character in The Journey to the East.

Attached is a my chart of Journey to the East - It was a semester project
about ten years ago- I'm thinking members of this list might enjoy perusing
some section titles - for instance paragraphs 40 - 59 are titled "Faithful
Rational Inquiry with regard to the missing Magic". It always cracks me up
that we value the magic so much and then insist on spending our time in
trying to "rationally" find it. Paradox, irony, folly.

My best conclusion is we are artist creatures - HH was a musician. Brother
Leo? - I'm guessing his artistic giftedness was a dog trainer. Be who your
magic is ... that's where the wonderment happens.

Grace and Peace
