Dear Betty,
I am saddened to learn of Sheldon's death. I hope that you find solace in the midst of loss.

Sheldon, Don, Rod, and George - cadre of the North Shore - Four Oaks. They all have meant a great deal to me and my family.

I encountered the Order just as I graduated from medical school. It was daunting to me to figure out how to pursue being a serious professional and member of the Order at the same time. My encounters with Sheldon, Don, Rod, and George were pivotal for me. They were the Guardians, standing with their feet firmly planted in both worlds. Each one highly engaged and excelling in their professions while at the same time fully committed to the Movement.
And the four of them along with you, Mary Warren, Priscilla, and Georgiana served as roles models to Sandra and I of what it meant to married - to be deply committed as a couple and family over the long haul.
I believe that Sheldon's passing releases a spirit that joins the spirtis of our other beloved Colleagues in replenishing the Creative Good of the Cosmos.
With gratitude and hallelujah.
Bob

Shel opened his office to our team at night so we could build his design. We were usually greeted with him laying out the work for the night then off he went on home. We would work until daybreak but we had to be back for daily office on the west side. He had drawn the design but it was not until we were in Detroit at the Conference setting it up that I saw it. It was a beautiful spire rising up from the floor at least 50 feet signaling the resurrection of the church in service. It was magnificent! Thanks Sheldon for creating art to represent our vision!

What can we do about windows that are 40 feet by 23 feet? He always willing to look at all the options and consider multiple solutions. Thanks Sheldon for making it possible for the 4750 building to continue to serve the community.
