Heidi and Duncan (along with Mary and Maurice) were married in the same ceremony as Stuart and I.

My strongest memories are of hearing of her Vietnam nursing and watching her model being a nurse, health professional permeator.  She used her lunch hours and breaks for professional education and would not entertain options of doing other “mission work”.

I will raise my own glass to her passing.

Thank you, Cynthia, I will go to that Memorial next time I am in D.C. in remembrance of Heidi.  I was in the Peace Corps during that war in the Philippines and I met many Americans who served in some capacity during that time. It was a very difficult time for so many. Mary Laura
