I am so glad that you are settling in.  I am sorry that John has injured himself.  Getting accustomed to new space and where everything is is very unsettling.  Any change is tough.  Keep practicing John.  Hope you get to art classes let out your creativity.  I can no longer play piano without pain so am shutting down a part of my life that I have loved since I was 8 or 9 years old.  Painful, too.  

Soldier on old friends, and make new ones.  Keeps us younger.
