Judy, that is a beautiful song—how did you find it? John Denver was hated by Coloradoans, especially people that lived in Aspen, but I always loved him and his music (despite being a Coloradoan of sorts, having been transplanted from the Philippines). Susan, I happened on it and I didn't intend to post it here., but happy that the same energy that led me to it brought it here. "Healing Time" is better than "great pause" or "great turning" or even "eve of destruction" al of which may also be true. Imagine it blaring through the airwaves today without a context! Beautiful song and so appropriate for our time today. Thank you for sharing. While in Aspen for some climate change conferences John Denver invited us to his home there. And his intro to this song reminded me so much of that evening with him and his wife and his introductions to the songs he played for us were much like this one where he connected us to the situation where in which he wrote the song.
