The funeral is on the ninth of August (not the 2nd as I mistakenly thought). Correct info: Ruth's funeral will be held on Friday, August 9, 2013, at the People's Church of the Harvest, 3570 W. 5th Avenue, Chicago, IL 60624. The Wake will begin at 10:00am followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00am. Repass will take place at the 5th City Community Center, 3350 W. Jackson after the Service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the 5th City Preschool. Cheques can be sent directly to the preschool at 3411 W 5th Ave, Chicago, IL 60624. Alternatively, the donation button on the www.ica-usa.org website is a mechanism for using credit cards or PayPal.
