Linda and I just got word from Georgianna's 24 hour nurse that the Hospice nurse just told her that Georgianna might be near the end of her journey. We are leaving now for Santa Monica to be with her and we believe her daughter Jana is also arranging to come tonight. We will try to let you know any time we have anything to report. The outpouring of responses and good wishes and stories about Georgianna have been heartwarming. We will try to read them to her if we have the chance. Georgianna is my sister in the New Women's Forum and the North Shore Cadre. I hold her in my heart during this crucial step in her journey. She would love to hear all of the stories and tributes to her...and who knows? Maybe she is getting them all in ways we don't understand. It occurs to me this morning that she would also love the fact that many of us are praying for her and Nelson Mandela in almost the same breath. Linda and I just got word from Georgianna's 24 hour nurse that the Hospice nurse just told her that Georgianna might be near the end of her journey. We are leaving now for Santa Monica to be with her and we believe her daughter Jana is also arranging to come tonight. We will try to let you know any time we have anything to report.
