Archives "Communities" work
Greetings, All! I am working on one of the collections for the Global Archives called “Communities.” We are soliciting short descriptions of how the EI/ICA methods have been applied to awaken a local community—urban neighborhood, small town—to possibilities. For example, here in Denver now, we are doing customized Community Forums to address the Climate Crisis at the neighborhood level with 35 action plans (aka proposals) underway to lower the carbon footprint of 11 neighborhoods. If you have a past or present story about work in a community, please send it as attachment to me at OSlotta@msudenver.edu <mailto:OSlotta@msudenver.edu>. Blessings!

Jennifer Vanica spent many years in a California community, using ICA’s ToP methods, and has a book published this year about the community project. The residents became the property owners, and I believe it is a lively and prosperous community. Hi Archivists, You might also check out the Australian archival Collections. The first collection was 2006 if my memory is correct. The 2nd collection was in 2018. Blessings Elaine Telford On Thu, Oct 10, 2019 at 5:47 AM Nancy Trask via OE <oe@lists.wedgeblade.net> wrote:

As I recall the Australian EI/ICA archives were donated to the Australian National Archives. I think Jean Long and Marge were keeping track and international information was kept in a notebook. Who can we contact to get back on track with Australian Archive information? On Tue, Oct 15, 2019, 8:07 AM the telfords via OE <oe@lists.wedgeblade.net> wrote:
