Eunice Jones Mathews dies at age 101 WASHINGTON (UMNS) — Eunice Jones Mathews, “wife, mother, author and noble soul,” died Feb. 27 at 101. She was the wife of the late United Methodist Bishop James K. Mathews and the only daughter of E. Stanley and Mabel Lossing Jones, renowned Methodist missionaries.
