Celebration of Life for Sandra Rafos
Dear Friends of Sandra, We hope this finds you well. Kim, Robin and I are sending out this announcement for our Mother's Celebration of Life. The date is *April 13th at 1:00 EST*, and we sincerely hope that you are able to attend or view virtually if you live out of town. It would be great to see you while we are in Toronto. Please help forward this invitation to others that you think might be interested in attending. We feel a bit limited in our outreach as we don't have all of the contact information for all of Mom's friends, but we do have contacts in most of her Circles and are asking people to help spread the word. She lived a remarkable life. Hi Sharon, Thanks so much. I sent your earlier email to her Toronto women's group. I don't know how to contact her Indigenous spirituality group though, and the husband of her close friend there (who died a few years before she left Toronto). Does that ring a bell? Dear Sharon, Kim and Robin, Thank you for this lovely invitation — I will definitely join you virtually on April 13th. These past two years have been marked by so many celebrations transitions — but we are blessed as an extended OE community to be able to rehearse our thanksgiving and farewells. Your Mom was a very special role model for me — strong, committed, faithful and faith-filled. Sharon, What a lovely, embracing notice of Celebration. I would like to, and hope to attend. At the same time, we are in the middle of a large move of our downsized household.
