Dear Susan, Right after the riots of April ’68, at collegium, on a number of occasions, I recall JWM saying, “It’s time for the drones to leave.” Being new to the Order, what I observed was that those who did not have their heart in the collective, concensed upon mission of moving beyond the assault of the riots, were invited to leave. I recall a woman whose was Kay McConathy (from Texas) weeping with Joe and packing her bags. There also was a man that I observed leaving as well. Speaking only for myself, I cannot fathom what you get from being on a listserv that so clearly and continually supports 'building the earth' initiatives. Many of our colleagues on this listserv have already ‘passed on’ - giving their last breath to ’the church as social pioneer’. In itself, your undying support for Israel against the Palestinians, who you have stated are morally, racially, religiously inferior, disqualifies you from this collegiality. Your support for the fascist destroyer of worlds is beyond words. I wish you well. Hail and farewell. Ken

Why take sides over Trump or his rival from the Democrats? Isthere a difference? Do either of them possess virtues so precious that theyshould be highlighted for the world to acknowledge? When a rogue nation dominates the world, scapegoating anentire people and unleashing genocide, why do its citizens fall over each otherto hold up their leaders as heroes? Why are they not ashamed like the Germans werewhen they realised what they did to Jews, the Romas, the homosexuals and thedisabled? I have spoken with Germans who were sickened of their ancestral linksto these horrors. I can't believe I'm doing this. I never weigh in on politics publicly. I'm no expert; I don't pretend to be. Dharma, I have read your words and they are powerful and important and have given me much to consider. I am very glad you are sharing your thoughts here, and I respect them greatly. And this is not a one-issue election. There are HUGE differences between these candidates. As a woman in the US I consider it imperative to make the right choice--for women, for people of color in our nation, for LGBTQ folks. There is no perfect candidate. But I am terrified of what will happen to our nation if we don't make the right choice. Terrified. These candidates are NOT the same. They are not. Remember Donald Trump? Well, as of today, he's still running! Sort of. So just why did The Donald give an emergency press conference yesterday from the Mar-a-lago ballroom? Where Trump would normally *never* be in the immediate wake of an August hurricane, no less? Short answer: it's ALL fake, folks! Unlike Trump's Bedminster golf club, Mar-a-lago is gold-plated and palatial, evoking subliminal Presidential vibes. Trump can't commandeer the White House, but he desperately needs to project maximum Presidential impact. So--back to Florida, instead of hitting the campaign trail. The short version of Trump's meandering, unscripted, off-the-cuff political diatribe: Trump projects a fake Presidential authority within his peculiar House of Cards that's structured as a fragile bubble of intersecting lies. At the center of his shocking, defensive display of unacknowledged angst is Trump's mental dysfunction of which he is unaware. In other words, Trump's denial of his mental illness, and his inability to see clearly that his propensity to live within a fake, constructed reality serves only his perceived self-interest, is a significant dimension of his mental illness. In short, it's self-destructive, malignant, delusionary narcissism propped up by political sycophants who do know better and armies of gullible MAGA worshippers who would rather believe Trump's Repugnant lies than confront their own personal truth. Trump's not exactly what anyone else would call a "stable genius." Fasten your seat belts, folks! It's already a bumpy election. Marshall Jones

Supporting either of them is also an endorsement of their policy to send weapons to Israel. But Americans seem immune despite their record of enslaving Africans, ethnic cleansing of native Americans and exploiting nations struggling todevelop themselves. Now they fight to defend Trump or Biden who used their countryto help Netanyahu and his gang kill 40,000 Palestinians, many of them children. When did nationality and political favourites become more important than being human?
