The Other World in the Midst of This World.
Hello Beret, May 2019 bring joys and days of hope in your life. I am wondering if some work has been done on the Charts over the recent years. ? At one time I think that the Packards were engaged in a project w the Other World. I have written to them, and not yet heard back. I have decided to make some time in 2019 to do some of my own work on the Charts. For years I have seen them as a window into the secular world which is surrounding us. I appreciate so much all that you are doing with the Archives, thank you very much. This year Jim and I have both written our Memoirs, which was quite a task. We are pleased to offer them to our family. With love and good health be yours, Isobel Bishop. xoxox Isobel and Jim Bishop isobeljimbish@optusnet.com.au
Isobel and Jim - I have so appreciated your responses to dialogue that has been shared on our list serves this year. I have two requests of you. 1) I expect here will be reflection on your years in the Order and what was going on in your lives that the Order was an answer to in your Memoirs. I would like to add them to the books (many folks' memoirs included) we actually have here in the "book room". If that is something you feel comfortable doing - either digitally or paper the Archives would welcome your part of our history. 2) I have just heard a rumor that the Australian files that you all donated to your National Archives might be digitized. If so, would the National Archives be willing to make them available for us to access and print off as they add to our files? Bless your continued awareness and support of the ongoing Order activity with the Global Archives. P.S. Yes, work is being done with the Other World. It is a major category under "The Interior LIfe" in the Website. (We used to call "The Interior LIfe" "Spirit LIfe". We are trying to use wordage that common man can more relate to. The website, except for the Image Change Collection, is in a very formative stage. All will be revealed and shared as it takes a shape you all will appreciate. Right now we have concentrated on "dropping" crucial documents into each collection. Without adequate contexting for local man - not for us - they will be there but not so usable. That will be part of the focus of the Spring Archives (April 20-24, 2019). We have experienced that writing those contexts - and finding brief live talks in the midst of all the resources we have - is most effect with a small team (2 - 3) face to face. May 2019 be lived in awakenment, enlightenment, and faith that what is given is acceptable and filled with opportunity and creativity.
