I finally got through on a phone line. The US Gov't has no monopoly on trouble with websites. The good news is that the UMC is being overwhelmed with donations. They have called in volunteers to help manage the phone lines who will take your info and they will keep trying to process it from there so it will be doubled. An e-confirmation will be sent to you, but I don't think it will be immediately since the website is "jammed" now. My volunteer said they would be there until 7 pm. I hope that means that the website will be fixed by then. If possible, make your donation by phone before 7 pm for it to be doubled just in case the site isn't working by then.
