Hello everyone,
What a stimulating continuous conversation !
I love it, sitting down here in Oz in quite a chilly winter ( for us).
I recently had the enormous pleasure of meeting Janeen and Jonathan Barker at Pitt St Church
followed by a long lunch
with daughter Rebecca also present.
(some  may remember her as Becky) and we were enjoying good memories. The Barkers were over this side of the country visiting family and friends ( They live in Adelaide, South Australia).
Our Uniting Church is holding its 17th  National Assembly right now- we have just elected a Tongan Australian as our President ,a married woman Minister with four children.  A first !
If Jim were here he would say ‘ we must be doing something right’!
Grace and peace with love

Does that clip give the impression that his self was “grounded transparently in the power that posits it”?

Since Judy and I interviewed Larry, this clip from the ICA Research Access YouTube Channel has seemed to me to illustrate "The self . . . And grounds itself transparently in the power that posits it"

Thanks Michael,
Appreciated listening to that discourse. Doesn't answer my/our questions but deepens them. Which is as it should be.

One who merely asks, how may I pass through?” has no desire for real knowledge.  But the one who asks, “what it is that endures?” has already passed through; they have already gone over from the time order to the timeless, although still alive.                              —Søren Kierkegaard
