HR 9495 would put us on a slippery slope toward full on autocracy. The House of Rep. are voting on H.R. 9495 this week!

H.R. 9495 would give the Secretary of the Treasury nearly unfettered power to strip nonprofit organizations of their tax-exempt status, without any due process of law.

H.R. 9495 would grant any administration the immense power to unilaterally shut down any non-profit organization it deems "terrorist-affiliated," which now includes many environmental & human rights organizations for actively criticizing our government or corporations. (Text - H.R.9495 - 118th Congress (2023-2024): Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act)

Write or call to ask your Representative to vote NO on H.R. 9495, on the grounds that it is an unconstitutional bill.
