A Renewed Call-to-Action
Hello,
As we approach the Fourth of July Holiday, we want to thank you for taking some time each day to share your experiences on our COVID Symptom Study App. Unfortunately, as you may have heard, we are facing record caseloads for COVID-19 around the country and there continues to be a severe lack of testing across the country.
Now more than never your regular participation in the COVID Symptom Study is crucial to overcome these challenges. We are continuing to pick up important warning signs based on our data analysis, and it is important that we receive current information from users all across the country. Even if it has been a while since you last reported, please check in every day for just a minute and keep us up-to-date with how you are feeling.
We also ask that you take a moment to recommend this app to at least 5 of your friends or family, including those who may not live in your area. The more people that use the app, the more useful the information will be in predicting where cases of COVID-19 might begin to spike and what efforts make a difference in preventing spread.
For those who primarily speak Spanish, we have launched a Spanish-language version of the app available to those whose phone settings are set in Spanish. You can download or update via the relevant app store link on our website. We are also continuing to offer opportunities for some users of the app to join other studies which offer free home antibody testing.
We are grateful for your participation in this citizen science initiative to fight COVID-19. Please stay engaged with us and spread the word to others who may want to join!
