Go to the archives and listen to the recording and video of Gordon Harper talking about those earlier days. It might trigger a memory of your own since you were there. And then again it may not. We may never find out what Gordon was speaking of.

His comments about a meeting in Detroit the summer of 1966 caught my attention. Evidently the group was discussing whether or not to use the Tillich paper in RS-1. Can you even imagine NOT having the Tillich paper in RS-1? Not going out of the church and playing the Tillich game? 

 

So, do any of you know anything about this discussion? What was the issue with the Tillich paper that was causing concern?

 

And, if not the Tillich paper, what other paper was being discussed as an alternative?
