Thank you, Ellie, for your marvelous writing, EYES, ONLY HOURS OLD, which confirms my experience of a retired OB/GYN nurse.  There is truly something magical in the experience of being with mother and child after a baby is born, especially as they “learn” to breastfeed!  The Mystery reveals itself in full at this time!
