Here is more information about our Spring Sojourn, including a timeline (attached).

This Sojourn marks a critical turn for the Global Archives. On one hand, we are losing people that have gone on, like Gordon Harper and Steve Harrington.  On the other hand, we have made progress in developing a web-based presence, gaining the attention of professional archivists, and incorporating interns into the archival process.  We are truly “creating the future in the middle of nowhere or out between the “no longer” and the “not yet,” and inviting others to follow”.*

In finalizing our planning for the Spring Sojourn, today, we had a great conversation with Bruce Williams, who will be facilitating our, Action Planning Workshop on Tuesday. He is excited to be leading us through this deliberation of our actions in the next year. These results will inform additional work on Wednesday and Thursday.  Then on Friday, we'll take these results to the Board of Directors. Again we are in the crux as, under the new leadership of Ted Wysocki, is undertaking their own Strategic Planning.  After delivering our Action Plan, we will have a chance to offer input into this planning process.

We are looking forward to a positive direction forward for ICA and the Global Archives.
