Another reference— not long ago someone here told a story about Cleveland — was it Jack Gilles who brought Ken Boulding to the house??

I only met him while charting The Image and the chapter on The Great Transition from Meanung of the 20th Century

I am still inspired by the short course on charting that you are out to meet the human being behind the text, that charting is a happening and thus an opportunity to be struck by grace.

In 1985(?) when we were being looked at as an example of a GSCO (Global Social Change Organization) by David Cooperrider and the Appreciative Inquiry movement, I met Elise Boulding and her notion of the 200 year present

I remember having the opportunity to have a conversation with him in a small group of Quakers, when i was living in Nebraska. It was in the mid-1960s. I just remember this soft spoken man with long flowing white hair who seemed to be wise, sitting in a circle with us and sharing in conversation about nonviolent demonstrations and the peace movement. This from the paper we used in the 1969 version of the Imaginal Education Colloquy . . .

See below an article on the history of "the fact"
