We wanted to share an update regarding our mother, Doris. Doris fell and broke her hip on April 1 and had surgery to repair it the next day. She is currently in a rehab facility, doing PT and OT everyday. Our hope is that she will be able to return to the assisted living community where she's lived since last summer, but staff at rehab have concerns as to whether that is wise. We will see how things unfold over the next couple of weeks.
