I offer this homage to a young woman whom I met infrequently during her childhood and also as a teenager. I give thanks for meeting Michaela even then as a youthful being of energy, wonder, poise and curiosity. She was ready to share with the world her unique and unrepeatable gifts and selfhood for which she will continue to be remembered in a moment and over a lifetime.

Mark, Catherine, and Vida, may your memories be sweet as you journey together and await that day to arrive when you will meet again your precious Michaela, a child of Grace.
