What a wonderful discussion to find this morning. Thank you all.

Just want to remind us that the Earth, Gaia, is our mother, the mother of all mankind, and a living being. I just sang the hymn solo, leaving in "men", thinking mankind, and sing "for our Mother". I've come to love all the Madonna images.

Kristen Knutsen is in the Monterey Community Hospital on life support. She went in with a high fever. They amputated an infected toe. Then she developed an embolism in a lung. Kyle and Frank have landed in San Francisco and are going to pick up Joan at Monterrey airport. Please, fervent prayers for healing, comfort and love to surround the family.

I agree that Earth is a more appropriate word than World. World is a political term, Earth is more comprehensive. As one of our best song writers I trust your judgements and would urge you to do the editing to bring that song into our lexicon we can sing with gusto and Spirit!
