Hi David,
I would recommend Nan and Bill Grow as mentors with deep memories, both long ago (OE days) and recently (the years since the Diaspora). Their e-mail addresses in Wallingford, CT (where they now live) are the same as those listed in the Directory.
The Grows made profound contributions to constructs such as the Human Resurgence Mission (I believe that’s what the HRM represented) used with many local churches; a special leadership empowerment program for Bishop Jim (when he was in DC) tailored for District Superintendents in his area; and many quarters’ worth of our OE “Internal Life Guides” which cared for our spirit life and practices both in the Centrums and the Houses. The latter are some of the documents in our boxes of files I am least willing to jettison (as I steadily realize shedding is the radical necessary deed at this point.)
Beyond that was the work Nan did (and has likely continued) in “the ritual process,” as part of her M Div. work.
I would love to hear how this important initiative unfolds.

Subject: [Oe List ...] request for models and resources
Hello colleagues.
I'm about the take on responsibility for setting up a "small Christian community" project at Church of the Holy Family in Aurora. In the broad, it sounds like an effort at creating ecclesiola groups or house churches or home-based study groups, etc.
Do you have recommendations for models from our common memory, mentors in our colleague network with related experience, or relevant resources you or others have used in local church work?
I'm bringing this project and these questions to the sojourn week in Chicago in September for a little focused digging, research, and re-appropriating our experience.
Feedback?
David
