Paul--
For several years now, I use
this format with the couple to identify a "Family Statement of Purpose." The
method is right out of Town Meetings.
First is a brain storm of the
individuals Hope and Dreams. These are grouped or gestalted into categories and
then named. It is in the naming that the new-ness is discovered. From a
theological point of view, this is the work of the Holy Spirit.
A Second workshop identifies the
"Anticipated Barriers."
A Third
workshop develops a ratonal chart, names the Goals, and then relates the
goals into a Vison Statement.
