Welcome to The Poets Corner where we ardently welcome Robertson Work with poems from his book Earthling Love: Living Poems. The book consists of poetry celebrating Earth and Humanity, Family and Self.Rob tells us that his poems “… were written to be read aloud.
I love the sound of the words, the alliterations, the word plays, the repetitions, the surprises, the drama of it all.”As listeners we are graced to hear the soul of a sensitive man illuminate his verses. His “truth telling’” is a deeply touching heart to
heart moment as he says, I Vow To Be Happy”The chosen poems quintessentially “celebrate the precious gift of being a member of the Earth community” because Everyday Is Earth Day. It is A Gift Given as Earth Had A Dream. And so The Search is Ended. For Now.Please
join me at The Poets Corner for heart to heart moments you will want to experience again and again.

SACRED EARTH
The whole earth is sacred, and our connecting is key.
And it’s the best way I know to help you and me.
For when we’re connected, then deeply we care.
Slaughtering elephants for tusks, almost too much to bear.
And how we treat earth’s creatures, as the sacred beings they are,
Will change things completely both near and afar.
And if the guy that is hungry is sacred too,
I better think about feeding him, isn’t that true?
When I see all life as sacred, and my connection is there.
My love is overflowing and I know how to care.
Dear friends,
Karen Snyder has kindly uploaded an expanded 20th anniversary-year memorial for Mary Elizabeth Avery Work: https://icaglobalarchives.org/mary-work/
It contains a brief biography, her final poem, obituary, eulogy, and some of her artwork. I think that you will experience some of her wisdom and love in her words and deeds.
Blessings,
Rob
