Dear colleagues, Alan Gammel, of the ICA SRC Global Calendar group, asked me if I might host a Zoom conversation on current social and ecological initiatives of OE/EI/ICA folks in this critical time. I would like to do that. Would you please share any initiatives that you are doing or that you know that others are doing that should be documented for the archive's website on a Zoom conversation series? Here are just a few of which I am aware: 1) Abbey North's programs by the Patterson's, 2) Vida Health Center in El Paso by the Schlesinger's, 3) Human Community Network in Oklahoma with Bill Parker and others, 4) Climate action forums in Denver and Redlands with Sunny Walker, Linda Hamilton, and others, 5) Swannanoa Watershed Doughnut Economics Initiative in NC, with our local group, 6) Social artistry training in Asia with Jan Sanders and others, 7) Caring for the Albuquerque homeless by Kaze Gadway. Once we see how many initiatives that would be involved, we will decide how long each presentation will be, how many Zoom events it would take to do this, and what kind of discussion we would have after a presentation or series of presentations. Looking forward to hearing from you this week! Rob Robertson Work Earth activist and author Books and bio: https://www.amazon.com/Robertson-Work/e/B075612GBF

Good to hear from you, Bill. I know that you are doing much to care for many people. Each initiative could be invited, for example, to share 1) What you are doing, 2) How you are doing it, 3) What has been the impact, and 4) How can others learn from you. Could you do that in a ten-or-fifteen-minute presentation? We are still trying to see what is feasible, what is the best way to share with others and to document current initiatives on the archive's website. Please share any of your suggestions or other questions. For example, if we had four fifteen-minute presentations, each followed by ten minutes of Q&A, ending with twenty minutes of cross-initiative discussion, that would be a two hour Zoom meeting. We could repeat that a few times until we had covered all of the initiatives. Your thoughts? Thank you, Sharon! These two initiatives sound great. Looking forward to hearing from Patricia Newkirk and the D'Souza's about their initiatives and their presentations.
Alan and I thought that we might call this series: Sharing Approaches that Work, Part 2!

Alan Gammel, of the ICA SRC Global Calendar group, asked me if I might host a Zoom conversation on current social and ecological initiatives of OE/EI/ICA folks in this critical time. I would like to do that. Would you please share any initiatives that you are doing or that you know that others are doing that should be documented for the archive's website on a Zoom conversation series?
Here are just a few of which I am aware:
1) Abbey North's programs by the Patterson's, 2) Vida Health Center in El Paso by the Schlesinger's, 3) Human Community Network in Oklahoma with Bill Parker and others, 4) Climate action forums in Denver and Redlands with Sunny Walker, Linda Hamilton, and others, 5) Swannanoa Watershed Doughnut Economics Initiative in NC, with our local group, 6) Social artistry training in Asia with Jan Sanders and others, 7) Caring for the Albuquerque homeless by Kaze Gadway.
Once we see how many initiatives that would be involved, we will decide how long each presentation will be, how many Zoom events it would take to do this, and what kind of discussion we would have after a presentation or series of presentations.
Looking forward to hearing from you this week!

Carbon-Free Building Initiative in Uptown, by ICA-USA, led by Lesley Showers & Karen Snyder. I’m looking forward to participating! Nancy Trask On Tue, Aug 2, 2022 at 3:32 PM robertsonwork100--- via Dialogue < dialogue@lists.wedgeblade.net> wrote:
Dear colleagues,
Alan Gammel, of the ICA SRC Global Calendar group, asked me if I might host a Zoom conversation on current social and ecological initiatives of OE/EI/ICA folks in this critical time.
