Fwd: Remembering A Civil Rights Swim-In: 'It Was A Milestone' : NPR
Here's the Story Corps reminiscence by Charles (Al) Lingo & his friend who were involved in the "Swim-In" which ended in the hotel worker dumping acid in the pool. I think 1964. We've probably shared it before, but not for awhile, and it's so worth remembering now & then.
